General FAQs
This is part of our plan to simplify and bring together both businesses following the acquisition of Marlowe plc in August 2025. It will help us work more efficiently and consistently with our supply chain partners.
Two main things are changing:

Your contract will move to a new Mitie legal entity.

You will move onto Mitie’s supplier systems (Coupa and, where relevant, Alcumus SafeContractor).
The changes will be going live between 1 April, 2026 and 1 February, 2027.
Between 1 April, 2026 and 1 November, 2026, the following entities will change:
1 April 2026: Marlowe Fire & Security Limited will change to Mitie Security Limited (trading as Mitie Fire & Security).
No. If we do not hear from you by the date mentioned in our communications, we will assume you have understood and accepted the information.
They will need to be reissued in the correct company name, which could delay payment.
Please aim to finalise any outstanding invoices, deliveries, or transactions before this date to ensure a smooth transition. Existing arrangements will continue, but any new purchase orders after the transition will be issued through Coupa.

Coupa is Mitie’s online system for purchase orders, invoicing, and supplier management. You will need to use this system to work with us going forward.
You will receive:

An email invite to join Coupa (check junk or spam folder). This will be an email from [email protected] with a link to join Coupa and provide your details.

A follow-up call to verify your details

A confirmation email when you are live, with links to training and FAQs
When you receive your Coupa invite, you should:

Click “Join and Respond” to create your account

Complete your onboarding details

Take a verification call from our Vendor Master Data team to confirm your bank details
Yes. Training videos, user guides, and FAQs can be found on Mitie Training.
Alcumus SafeContractor is an accreditation system used for UK subcontractors who work on Mitie or Marlowe client sites.
If you are a UK subcontractor working on our client sites, you must have appropriate SafeContractor accreditation for your scope of work.
If your accreditation is already valid and up to date, you will not be contacted again.
If you are a UK-based subcontractor carrying out work on Mitie or Marlowe client sites, you must hold a valid Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation that covers the type of work your company performs. You will receive an email from Alcumus with further details.
If you already have a current and valid accreditation, you will not be contacted.

Supplier onboarding guide
This guide outlines the steps required to begin transacting with Mitie through the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP). As part of a recent acquisition, supplier details have already been transferred into Mitie’s purchasing system. To complete the setup process and enable electronic trading, a short onboarding form must be submitted via the CSP.
